Wanda Maximoff is a character in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Wanda and her twin brother, Pietro, volunteer to be  experimented on by Hydra. During the process, the mind stone amplifies her telekinetic and energy manipulation abilities, also known as chaos magic. Hydra used them to defeat the Avengers. Later, they join  the team and become one of the Avenger’s members. After appearing in six films, Wanda has emerged as an important character inside the MCU. She also has a lead role in  the miniseries  Wandavision (2021).
